Privacy Policy
Dexlyy Voice is built privacy-first. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and the control you have. In plain English: your voice stays yours.
1. On-device mode keeps your audio local
The free, on-device mode transcribes speech entirely on your computer using a local model. Your audio and transcripts never leave your machine and are never sent to us or any third party.
2. Cloud mode is opt-in
If you choose cloud mode (available on paid plans), audio is sent over an encrypted connection to our secure processing service solely to return a transcription or translation. It is not used to train models and is not retained beyond what's needed to deliver the result.
3. What we store
- Account data: your email and plan status, to operate your subscription.
- Usage counts: word counts for quota enforcement — not the content of what you dictate.
- On your device: preferences, history and your custom dictionary live locally under
~/.voxlingua/. You can delete them anytime.
4. What we never do
We never sell your data, never use your dictation to train models, and never share your transcripts with advertisers.
5. Your controls
You can clear your local history and dictionary in one click from Settings, delete your account at any time, and export or request deletion of account data by emailing us.
